Belcan in Querétaro, México is seeking an Aerospace Lead Design Engineer to drive mechanical design across aircraft engine components and systems. The role involves translating requirements into practical design solutions, guiding multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering designs through the full development cycle.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or aerospace background, 5+ years in aerospace or regulated mechanical products, strong GD&T and FEA knowledge, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in statics, strength of materials, and fatigue.
• Experience with aerospace mechanical design and analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and evaluate mechanical designs for aircraft engine components and systems.
• Support product development cycle from requirements through testing and maturity.
• Perform engineering analyses including static strength and thermal effects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and dispositions to ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with design, stress, materials, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and test teams.
