Job summary

TMC is seeking a System Engineer to define and manage system requirements and architecture across the full product lifecycle. You will ensure alignment between customer expectations, hardware, software, mechanics and validation activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating interfaces between hardware, software, mechanical, BMS, validation, and manufacturing teams; leading system reviews; maintaining traceability and compliance with automotive standards; and supporting risk assessment and

Qualifications

Define and manage customer and internal system requirements across the lifecycle.
Translate customer specifications into structured engineering requirements.
Maintain bidirectional requirements traceability from customer requirements to subsystem validation.
Define and maintain system architecture, functional decomposition and technical specifications.
Allocate system requirements to hardware, software, mechanical, and BMS domains.
Develop and maintain system-level design documents and architecture models.

Responsibilities

Coordinate interfaces between hardware, software, mechanical, BMS, validation and manufacturing teams.
Lead technical discussions and system reviews with stakeholders.
Support system concept definition and technology selection activities.
Ensure traceability and compliance with customer specifications, industry standards and internal processes.
Prepare technical documentation and review packages.
Report risks and status to management.
