Job summary

Flex is seeking a Production Manager (Automotive) at our Juarez Automotive Site to lead production teams and drive efficiency. You will guide design support, plan projects, and coordinate with planning and distribution to meet customer requirements.

You will forecast costs, manage budgets, and develop the team to ensure quality and cost targets are achieved in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate English.
• Demonstrates detailed expertise in complex functional/technical areas.
• Advanced people and/or process management skills.
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes and interdependence across sites.
• Office skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations.

Responsibilities

• Guides department activities to support design of new products and modifications; improves production techniques.
• Plans projects based on technology trends and market demand.
• Collaborates with management, production and marketing to resolve feasibility, cost, and customer demand issues.
• Forecasts operating costs and prepares budget requests for the department.
• Develops strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan for the function.
• Determines material, equipment, and manpower resource needs.
• Prioritizes production schedules to meet product introductions and customer requirements.
• Coordinates production activities with planning and distribution.
• Develops personnel to ensure efficient operation of production function.
• Controls manufacturing operations to meet quality and cost targets.
• Reviews budgets and schedules; maintains relationships with executives and customers.
• Resolves controversial situations and negotiates with customers as needed.
