Job summary

Flex is seeking a Production Manager located in Juarez Automotive to oversee production planning, cost control, and cross-functional coordination with planning, distribution, and engineering teams.

You will guide department activities, forecast operating costs, and develop budgets within the annual operating plan, while prioritizing schedules to meet customer requirements. A bachelor’s degree and intermediate English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Intermediate English is required.
• Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical areas or broad knowledge across sites.
• Strong people and/or process management skills and customer relationship skills.
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes and interdependence across functions.
• Office skills: word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and database software.

Responsibilities

• Guide department activities to support new product design, production methods, and testing procedures.
• Explore technology trends and market demand to plan projects.
• Collaborate with management, production, and marketing to address feasibility, cost, and customer demand for products.
• Forecast operating costs and prepare budget requests.
• Develop the strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan for the function.
• Review material, equipment, and manpower resource needs.
• Prioritize production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate production with planning and distribution.
• Select and develop personnel to ensure efficient operation of production.
• Ensure production quality and cost targets are met.
• Handle complex problems and negotiations with executives and major customers.
• Experience in Harnesses desirable.
