Flextronics is seeking a Production Manager (Automotive) for our Juarez, Automotive Site, reporting to the Director of Operations. The role involves guiding production, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure cost targets and quality are met.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, intermediate English, and a proven track record in people and process management within complex manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate English.
• Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical areas; understands the strategic impact of the function.
• Demonstrates advanced people and/or process management skills as well as customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide department activities to support design of new products and production improvements.
• Plan projects by analyzing technology trends and market demand.
• Collaborate with management to resolve feasibility, cost, and customer-demand issues.
• Forecast operating costs and prepare budget requests.
• Develop strategic plans and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the function.
• Determine resource requirements for materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Prioritize production schedules to meet product introductions and material availability.
• Coordinate production activities with planning and distribution.
• Select and develop personnel for efficient operation.
