OPmobility SE in Mexico is seeking an Engineering & Development Project Leader to drive product design and industrialization while leading an extended team across functions, ensuring quality and timelines.

You will manage project budgets, participate in feasibility milestones, and coordinate with customers to define specifications and launch readiness. A strong engineering background and leadership are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• English required.
• Design and/or development of plastic parts for automotive industry.
• Project management skills.
• Leadership with clear synthesis, organized, and good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Works according to HSE requirements.
• Involves in upstream phases of the project (expertise phase, acquisition phase).
• Analyses Customer Needs and Draw-up OP Specifications.
• Defines concepts of product design to meet customer specs and GD&T; ensure OP standards are met.
• Ensures design for manufacturing (assembly, paint, plant & packaging) is fulfilled.
• Acts as main technical contact with the customer during design & tuning phases.
• Provides functional specifications for baby parts.
• Manages and performs risk analysis (DFMEA + Design reviews).
• Manages specifications, manufacturing and validation of means (injection tools, fixtures, test jigs, EOAT).
• Manages product validation (functional, geometry and cosmetic quality).
• Manages product tuning (mold tuning, fixture tuning).
• Defines initial Statement of Work of product engineering perimeter and budget; sets up project planning.
