Job summary

Signify in Monterrey region is seeking a Test Technician to sustain automated testing processes on manufacturing lines. You will install and set up equipment, fixtures, and support the manufacturing release with technical backing.

You’ll also work with programmable equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in similar roles, with PLCs, robot and controls programming knowledge, and exposure to LabVIEW or similar environments.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics or Electronic technician background with hands-on experience in automated tests.
• +2 years of experience in a similar role on manufacturing/test environments.
• Programming knowledge with PLCs, Robots and Controls.
• Familiarity with C++, Python or similar programming environments (desirable).
• Experience with LabVIEW, Test Sequencers or similar environments (desirable).
• Understanding and implementing improvements for automated testing processes.
• Contribute to Automated Testing knowledge for products/services.

Responsibilities

• Sustain Products Automated Test Processes and document the testing process.
• Equipment installation and setup, including fixtures installation and manufacturing release with technical support.
• Support other programmable and adjustable equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance within the area of responsibility.
• Contribute to automated testing knowledge for products/services.
