IT8 in Guanajuato, México, seeks a Commissioning Technician to verify PLC-controlled systems before delivery. You will test, adjust, and validate hardware, software, and processes to ensure safe, correct operation prior to startup.

Responsibilities include verifying I/O, sensors, wiring, PLC programs, and HMI/SCADA screens; collaborating with programmers; ensuring safety interlocks; and supporting this final technical check before installation becomes operational.

Formación

• Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 1 year of experience with PLC brands programming.
• Knowledge of logistics and programming systems and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Spanish (native) and English (B1 – desired).
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Verify digital and analog I/O.
• Check sensors, actuators, valves, motors and variators.
• Check wiring, signals, grounds, communications.
• Diagnose electrical and instrumentation faults.
• Load and validate PLC programs.
• Adjust parameters, timings and scaling.
• Test programs under production conditions.
• Test safety interlocks and related logic.
• Collaborate with programmer to fix bugs.
• Verify HMI/SCADA screens, alarms and trends.
