Softeq Development Corp. is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to help build a new customer portal for a large logistics company. The portal runs on Azure with a React/TypeScript frontend, Python/FastAPI services, and an Azure Databricks lakehouse.

You will own quality evidence for each release and drive the automation-first testing strategy. Responsibilities include UI end-to-end automation with Playwright, API testing with pytest against OpenAPI 3.1, and cross-tenant/RBAC testing.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of test automation for web applications and APIs.
• Strong Playwright experience with page objects/fixtures and data management.
• API testing with pytest or similar; OpenAPI contract testing; negative and boundary cases.
• Experience testing role-based access and multi-tenant isolation.
• Good SQL: write reconciliation queries and explain variances.
• CI integration of tests (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and test reporting.

Aufgaben

• Define the test strategy and test plan for each release with the team and client.
• Build and maintain UI end-to-end automation with Playwright, and API/contract tests with pytest.
• Write cross-tenant negative tests to ensure data isolation between customers.
• Test RBAC entitlements: admins, internal staff, customer users, delegated access.
• Run performance/load tests (Azure Load Testing or k6) against targets.
• Run security tests in pipeline (DAST with OWASP ZAP) and support remediation and retest.
• Test data reconciliation against source systems and verify data quality rules.
• Help test AI features: evaluation sets for the assistant and adherence to data scope.
• Integrate all tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and report quality at release gates.
• Manage defects with clear, reproducible bug reports.
