AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a QA Engineer to build regression automation and drive quality across a growing platform. You will blend manual and automated testing, executing smoke, integration and performance tests while documenting feature behavior and linking failures to defects.

The role requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, Gherkin-based BDD, and upper-intermediate English. Expect flexible hours with remote and office options and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on quality engineering.
• Knowledge of QA processes and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fail conditions and correlate to defects.
• Identify and escalate risks to quality of product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality during SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing.
• Participate in refinement and estimation of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
