Job summary
Tenaris in Veracruz, Mexico is seeking an Automation Specialist to lead strategic automation projects that enhance safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and digitalization across operations. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with international suppliers, and support projects across the Tenaris network.
The role requires a degree in Mechatronics/Automation/Control Engineering and at least 5 years of industrial automation experience, plus PLC/SCADA and English
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Control Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation and large-scale project leadership.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, industrial networks, and process instrumentation.
- Experience managing projects in continuous-operation industrial environments.
- English proficiency for technical communication with international suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate automation projects from concept through commissioning.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive modernization, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
- Support the implementation and integration of advanced control, inspection, and quality assurance systems.
- Participate in FAT/SAT activities and collaborate with global Tenaris operations.
