Job summary
Rockwell Automation Software is seeking an Intermediate Automation Software Engineer based in Monterrey, Mexico. You will design, develop, and test software across components, using Inductive Automation Ignition and Rockwell tools, translating requirements into specifications and supporting production deployments.
You will join a team focused on process controls, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, tackling complex integration challenges with hands-on engineering
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Inductive Automation Ignition Platform.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in related skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Bonus points for Advanced Rockwell Automation Software.
- Intermediate knowledge of SDLC processes.
- Intermediate troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Beginner experience with system integration techniques.
- Intermediate skills in technical documentation and specification writing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications.
- Create implementation or integration approaches for applications and components.
- Translate system requirements into clear and effective design specifications.
- Provide primary support for the installation of application releases into production environments.
- Design and code applications following programming standards and interface specifications.
