Job summary

Iyuno México is seeking a QC specialist to evaluate general recording quality, report issues such as missing dubbed lines, synchronization, and audio problems, and ensure alignment with the domestic version.

You will generate detailed QC reports, coordinate with the recording engineer, editor, and mixing engineer, and maintain regular communication with Production and Post-Production to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sound engineering, including recording, editing, and/or mixing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC to evaluate general recording quality and report issues such as missing dubbed lines, episode and main title treatments, audio issues (clicks, distortions), and synchronization.
• Assess mix quality (sound design, perspectives, audio levels, clarity) and prepare or complete M&E quality check reports.
• Check dialogue and character name continuity and ensure dialogue delivery aligns with the domestic version.
• Manage deliverable labeling, dial norm, loudness, true peak levels, and audio delivery formats.
• Verify characters voice match and complete a QC report form per Iyuno México standards, identifying areas for review.
• Provide detailed QC reports to Production and Post-Production, indicating issues that require correction by the recording engineer, editor, or mixing engineer.
• Maintain regular communication with Production, Post-Production, and other departments to keep them informed of project status and progress.
