Job summary

Tetra Pak in Mexico City (Polanco) is seeking an Associate Project Engineer to contribute to pre-contract activities and design installation solutions that meet customer needs. You will work with Project Engineers and Managers to standardize global Project Engineering processes, tools, and templates.

The role may require up to 50% travel to customer sites and is based in Polanco, Mexico City. Fluency in English and a background in automation/engineering are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Automotive, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electronic, Software Engineering or related.
• Autocad or Solidworks knowledge.
• Programming language, such as C++.
• 1 – 2 years of experience supporting pre-project activities.
• Fluent in English.
• Basic understanding of Pre-Cost Management.
• Desirable to have knowledge in Tetra Pak machines.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-contract activities to develop solutions for Value Selling and installation projects.
• Assist Project Engineers and Managers with mechanical and automation integration requirements.
• Participate in identification and execution of project scope changes.
• Assist in creating project documentation to support procurement and installation.
• Help maintain Packaging line concepts and solutions.
• Support standardization of Global Project Engineering processes, tools, guidelines and templates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in installation procedures and knowledge.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
