Uber Freight in Monterrey is seeking an Associate Manager to lead the OS&D team, guiding daily performance and professional growth. You will coordinate with Mexico and the US to minimize exceptions and maximize efficiency, while building strong cross-functional partnerships and delivering actionable performance insights.

The role demands a detail-oriented, process-driven approach and excellent communication. On-site schedule is Mon–Fri, with potential extra hours as needed.

• Advanced English required (verbal and written).
• 1+ years in a management or supervisory role within logistics.

About the Role

The Associate Manager leads our OS&D team, driving the design, execution, and reporting of standard operating procedures to ensure service expectations are consistently met and exceeded. Delivery exceptions—overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)—represent critical operational challenges for Uber Freight that directly impact cargo safety, carrier efficiency, brand reputation, and team productivity.

In this role, you will serve as the primary escalation point for your direct reports, guiding them through complex cases while actively supporting their daily performance and professional growth. You will also build strong, collaborative relationships with internal operational teams and external partners across the brokerage. This fast-paced role demands keen attention to detail, a process-driven mindset, execution urgency, and effective communication.

Additionally, you will support continuous operational improvements by tracking trends, ensuring process adherence, and helping implement workflow changes to maximize efficiency. Strong cross-cultural collaboration is essential, as you will partner closely with stakeholders across both Mexico and the US.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Supervise day-to-day activities of team members
• Schedule staff and distribute workload – work closely with Mexico/US stakeholders to meet business requirements
• Hands-on associate manager who can combine team leadership with active production coverage, stepping in whenever extra support is needed
• Ensure team members meet daily goals and monitor individual and team performance
• Develop, implement and maintain effective processes
• Proactively generate and share ideas that lead to process efficiency and customer experience improvement
• Develop and distribute customer and internal performance management reports
• Develop strong relationships across organization
• Develop team members by providing training opportunities, projects, mentoring and coaching
• Create and maintain strong team culture in line with Uber Freight values and behaviors
• Foster collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders in Account Management, Carrier Sales, etc

Basic Qualifications

• Advanced English, verbal and written
• 1+ years experience in a management or supervisory role3 years of LOGISTICS (transportation management, brokerage, warehouse, supplychain, etc.) experience WITH increasing level of responsibility.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently across various responsibilities including managing the day to day of a team along with our internal and external stakeholders
