Milwaukee Tool seeks an Associate Channel Manager - Retail to drive growth across assigned retail accounts through customer-focused business planning, strategy development and cross-functional teamwork. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and retailers to translate insights into actionable plans, manage launches and promotions, and monitor KPIs to optimize sell-through and profitability.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in retail sales, channel or category management.
  • Experience with retail customers and developing customer plans.
  • Strong knowledge of retail dynamics, merchandising, promotions, and channel development.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen to interpret sales, inventory and profitability.
  • Proven project management and multitasking skills.
  • Strong English communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, BI tools, and AI productivity platforms.
  • Ability to travel; valid visa required.

Responsabilidades

  • Support channel/customer-specific business plans and initiatives for assigned retail accounts.
  • Build relationships with retail customers as a trusted partner.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations to align priorities.

  • Develop recommendations to improve distribution, merchandising, sell-through and profitability.
  • Coordinate joint business planning and promotional calendars with retailers.
  • Oversee product launches and in-store execution to maximize engagement.
  • Monitor key metrics and provide insights to leadership and retailers.
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to ensure product availability.
  • Manage multiple projects with timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare and present business reviews and strategic recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and retailer collaboration.

The Associate Channel Manager - Retail Customers plays a critical role in driving growth and execution across assigned retail accounts through customer-focused business planning, retail strategy development and cross-functional collaboration. This position serves as a key liaison between the organization and retail partners, ensuring alignment on business objectives, promotional strategies, merchandising initiatives and operational execution.

Working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Promoters, Supply Chain, Finance, and retailer stakeholders, the Associate Channel Manager translates customer, market and business insights into actionable plans that accelerate sell-through, improve customer satisfaction and deliver profitable growth.

The successful candidate demonstrates strong business acumen, relationship management skills, strategic thinking and a passion for retail excellence while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of channel/customer-specific business plans, growth strategies and commercial initiatives for assigned retail accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers, serving as a trusted business partner and primary point of coordination across key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations teams to align priorities and ensure successful execution of customer programs and business objectives.
  • Analyze retail sales performance, inventory levels, market trends, promotional effectiveness and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
  • Develop actionable recommendations that improve distribution, merchandising, sell-through performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support joint business planning processes with retail partners, including annual planning, promotional calendars, assortment reviews and category growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate product launches, retail marketing programs and in-store execution activities to maximize customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Monitor key business metrics including sales, forecast accuracy, inventory health, market share, and promotional ROI, providing regular insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability, resolve operational issues and support effective inventory management across retail customers.
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, performance updates, growth opportunities and strategic recommendations to internal leadership and retail partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen retailer collaboration, and implement innovative solutions that enhance business performance and customer outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail sales, channel management, category management, or related commercial functions.
  • Experience working directly with retail customers, developing customer plans, and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics, customer engagement strategies, merchandising principles, promotional planning, and channel development.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, profitability, and market data to generate business recommendations.
  • Proven project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple customer initiatives simultaneously.
  • Effective written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills in English (C1-C2).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, business intelligence tools, and AI-enabled productivity platforms.
  • Ability to travel as required by the business (valid visa required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing national or regional retail accounts within consumer electronics, technology, consumer goods, or related industries.
  • Experience of participating in Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes and customer business reviews.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations with multiple business partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
  • Understanding of retail KPIs, sell-through management, inventory optimization, promotional effectiveness, and category performance.
  • Experience supporting product launches, retail marketing programs, and in-store execution initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities and translate insights into measurable business results.
