Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Assistant to accurately record plant financial transactions, reconcile ledgers, and manage vendor invoices. The role supports tax and payroll payments, bank reconciliations, and DIOT/INEGI reporting within a dynamic, global manufacturing environment.

You will engage with accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and documentation continuity, contributing to compliant financial processes and timely reporting while supporting overall business

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Accounting / Finance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record plant financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, and general journal entries.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Record vendor invoices in the payment processing system.
• Process and execute tax and payroll payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
• Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation.
• Prepare and submit DIOT reports and INEGI statistical reports.

The Accounting &Reporting Assistant, supports accounting practices through standard tasks which may include processing, correcting and reconciling accounting reports and documents, invoices, cash receipts, vendor statements, journal vouchers, etc. Reviews, codes and processes financial information. Reviews, verifies, and processes expense claims while ensuring compliance with rules for employee expenses. Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for review. Provides audit support as needed.

About Your Job:

Accurately record all plant financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, and general journal entries.

• 30% Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• 20% Receive and record vendor invoices in the payment processing system.
• 10% Process and execute tax and payroll payments.
• 10% Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash activities.
• 10% Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation.
