Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Accounts Receivable professional in Querétaro, Mexico. You will support agency and branch collections, develop strong client relationships, and assist daily AR operations.

The role requires analytical mindset, discipline, and a positive attitude, with focus on resolving past-due balances and improving financial accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a contact center with high call volumes (minimum 1 year).
• Strong math and computer skills including Excel proficiency.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with clear communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Make collections calls and collect on past due balances.
• Develop strong customer focus and high service level relationships with internal and external clients.
• Assist in the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department.
• Provide ad hoc information and data analysis as requested.
• Meet timelines and goals for assigned work.
• AR account conflicts to bring agencies back on track.
• Analyze customer accounts for skipped or partial payments and resolve remittance discrepancies.
• Accounts Receivable analysis and reporting.
• Generate AR aging reports and identify critical issues.
• Contact customers to collect past due amounts and coordinate with teams on resolutions.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Account Receivables department is looking to backfill a position within Mexico's team, providing assistance to our agencies and branches. This position requires a very analytical person with self-discipline, determination, and a positive attitude. This is an entry-level - mid-level position

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make collections calls and collect on past due balances
• Develop strong customer focus and high service level relationships with internal and external clients
• Assist in the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department
• Provide ad hoc information and data analysis as requested
• Meet established timelines, and pre-defined goals for assigned work
• AR account conflicts. The result is to get the agency back on track to be a producing RIA agent.
• Analyze customer accounts at the time of application for any skipped or partial payments, or customer errors. Contact customers immediately to resolve any remittance discrepancies.
• Accounts Receivable analysis and reporting.
• Generate AR aging reports and identify critical issues.
• Contact customers via phone, email, and fax to collect past due amounts. Identify any reasons for non-payment and develop strategic plans with management on how to resolve any issues. This includes open communication with our International Ria Sales Team to discuss and coordinate an onsite visitation to agency who may be experiencing issues.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a contact center environment, handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls (one year minimal)
