Edag-Engineering-Gmbh is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Manufacturing Process Planner in Puebla, Mexico. The role focuses on designing and optimizing AI-based manufacturing processes for automotive assembly, leveraging Industry 4.0 concepts and predictive analytics.

You will drive digital manufacturing initiatives, coordinate industrialization activities, and manage projects from concept to ramp-up in an on-site setting. A 6‑month assignment with prior OEM and AI/ML experience is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering; AI/Data Science master’s is a plus
• 4+ years of professional experience in manufacturing/AI environments
• Experience at an OEM and in automotive assembly planning
• Fluent English and strong communication skills
• Position duration: 6 months

DESCRIPTION

• Design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes using Artificial Intelligence.
• Proposals of Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and data -driven technologies
• Advance analytics, machine learning, simulation, and automation to improve productivity, quality, cost an operational efficiency across automotive manufacturing operations
• Lead the planning, development, and optimization of automotive assembly processes, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets
• Coordinate industrialization, activities, including equipment specifications, supplier management, installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up
• Analysis, conception and implementation of assembly structures and processes
• Project management (controlling, monitoring of dates, documentation of defects)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Systems, Automotive or related). Master's Degree in AI, Data Science or related is advantage
• At least 4 years of professional experience
• Experience at an OEM
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve productivity, quality, forecasting, capacity planning, process optimization, and decision-making
• Substantial experience in the specific planning fields in the automotive industry, Specifically, a very high knowledge and experience in Assembly Equipment and Tools Planning.
• Knowledge in SQL, Python, Data visualization and others
• Fluent English
• Position for 6 months
