Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an Area Manager Jr to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates in a Sort Center environment. You will mentor, coach and motivate the team, ensuring safety, attendance, and performance while aligning with daily operation plans and quality standards.

You will manage resources, adapt to shifting demands, and partner with management to maintain security and loss prevention. This is an on-site role with rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a rotating, flexible schedule including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week with overtime as required.
• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree.
• On-site role in a Sort Center environment with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates.
• Communicate policies and act as primary information source for the team while ensuring compliance and quality.
• Create, manage and support recognition and communication programs.
• Ensure safety programs and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe workplace.
