Job summary

Pacific International Lines (PIL) seeks an Accounts Receivable Supervisor in Mexico DF to lead receivables, collections, and billing controls within our Finance team.

The role focuses on ensuring timely cash collection, healthy customer accounts, and adherence to PIL's financial controls while driving process improvements and team development in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of AR/Credit Control/Collections experience.
• Experience leading or supervising teams.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English.

Responsibilities

• AR Operations & Collections: supervise day-to-day AR and collections activities.
• Credit Control & Customer Management: monitor credit exposure and escalate high-risk accounts.
• Reporting & Month-End Closing: review reconciliations and collection strategies.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: ensure adherence to policies and audit requirements.
• Leadership & Continuous Improvement: coach and develop the AR team and drive improvements.

Get On Board for a Dynamic and Purposeful Career We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor to join our Finance team at PIL in DF, Mexico, reporting to the Country Finance Manager. The AR Supervisor leads receivables, collections, billing controls, and customer account management. The role ensures timely cash collection, healthy customer accounts, and compliance with PIL financial controls, contributing to improved cash flow and DSO performance.

Key Responsibilities

AR Operations & Collections

• Supervise day-to-day AR and collections activities.
• Monitor aging reports and drive recovery of overdue balances.
• Ensure accurate cash application and receivable reporting.

Credit Control & Customer Management

• Monitor customer credit exposure and **escalate** high-risk accounts.
• Lead resolution of invoice and balance disputes.

Reporting & Month-End Closing

• Review and approve account reconciliations and collection strategies.
• Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Coach, develop, and supervise the AR team.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
• Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in AR, Credit Control, Collections, or Finance Operations.
• Previous experience leading or supervising teams.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English.
