Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide technically and commercially oriented sales support, delivering tailored solutions for industrial and special applications from an office environment.

You will operate as a product specialist within a team, collaborating closely with sales, development and other site specialists to support defined clientele, prepare proposals and orders, and assist in comprehensive order completion.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in relevant field required.
• 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

• Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals.
• Cost calculation in cooperation with relevant departments.
• Technical and commercial preparation of offers.
• Order acceptance, review, and preparation.

Job Summary: Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Support of the defined clientele in the office
• Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
• Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
• Technical and commercial preparation of offers
• Order acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)
• And any other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.
• Good communication skills
• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
• SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
