A leading engineering firm in Santiago de Querétaro is seeking an Applications Engineer to serve as a key technical liaison between customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 1–3 years of related experience. Responsibilities include translating customer specifications, supporting product launches, and conducting technical training. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential, along with strong teamwork and communication skills. Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Formación

• 1–3 years of related experience in engineering.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 3 years of experience in precision rubber sealing product development.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer specifications into internal requirements.
• Support DV/PV testing and production launches.
• Deliver technical training to customers as required.
• Participate in RFQ process, reviewing technical requirements.
• Resolve technical issues during RFQ prior to purchase order acceptance.
• Coordinate Engineering Design Changes.
• Assist teams with customer complaints.
• Represent the company during technical discussions.
• Conduct regular on-site customer visits to support projects.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain project integrity.

Conocimientos

As an Applications Engineer, you will serve as a key technical liaison between our customers, internal engineering teams, and operations. You will develop technical solutions, interpret customer specifications, and support new product launches to ensure alignment with global standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer specifications into internal requirements, processes, and product standards.
• Support DV/PV testing, pre‑launch activities, and production launches.
• Deliver technical training to customers when required.
• Participate in the RFQ process by reviewing technical requirements and preparing drawings for quotations.
• Resolve technical issues during RFQ prior to purchase order acceptance.
• Coordinate Engineering Design Changes and ensure proper implementation.
• Assist Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams with customer complaints and special requirements.
• Represent the company during technical discussions at customer engineering offices.
• Conduct regular on‑site customer visits to strengthen relationships and support ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with APQP and cross‑functional teams to maintain project integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering.
• 1–3 years of related experience.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in precision rubber sealing product development.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAD software.
• Knowledge of rubber transformation processes (injection, compression, extrusion).
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, APQP, FMEA, and quality systems.
• Experience in cost estimation and RFQ processes.
• French language fluency (plus).
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer‑facing skills.
