Job summary

PPG is seeking an AP Analyst Expert in Querétaro, Mexico to support documentation flow into accounts payable for internal and supplier contacts. The role requires basic MX GAAP, NIFs, SOX, and internal controls per PPG guidelines, with daily analysis, reporting and discrepancy resolution.

You will handle OCR processing, supplier monitoring, and ensure timely payments, while supporting auditors and auditors’ requests. In-person work Monday-Thursday with remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a multinational company.
• ERP knowledge for AP module (Oracle/SAP).
• Understanding of accounting entries and account reconciliation.
• PPG business knowledge; Shared Services experience preferred.

Job description

As AP Analyst Expert you will assist to both internal and supplier contacts for documents into the account payable. You will perform daily analysis, reporting and discrepancy following activities to ensure timing payments. Must have basic knowledge of MX GAAP, NIF’s, SOX’S, and Internal Controls based on PPG guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform OCR, Processing and Provide Customer Service activities and assistance to both internal (employees) and external (supplier) users.
• Monitor and follow up for strategic suppliers.
• Ensure payments be released properly.
• Support with documents and evidence related to payments for Auditors (internal and external).
• Follow up to any auditor requirement.
• Discrepancy follow up (quantity and price) with manager teams.
• Monitoring ageing of account payable and GRNI account.
• Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards according PPG guidelines.
• Monitor and follow-up of reject payments.
• Follow up on prepayment justifications.`(sic?)
• Bank reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, or related).
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable 3 years or more, in a multinational company.
• ERP knowledge for AP module (Oracle/SAP).
• Understanding of accounting entries and account reconciliation.
• PPG Business general knowledge.
• Preferably previous experience into Share Service Centers.
