PPG is seeking a LATAM Finance Operations Supervisor to lead costing and inventory accounting for our Latin America manufacturing footprint. You will partner with plant leaders and finance teams across multiple countries to drive cost accuracy and process improvements.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, advanced Excel skills, and ERP experience, with hybrid work options (in-person Monday-Thursday, remote Fridays). Fluency in English is required for regional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• At least 5 years in Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance roles.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Experience in manufacturing environments and leadership of projects or teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP experience, preferably Oracle.

Main Responsibilities

Cost Accounting & Financial Control

• Lead costing and inventory accounting activities across Latin America manufacturing operations.
• Ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, standard cost calculations, and annual cost roll processes.
• Analyze manufacturing and inventory variances, including:
• Material usage variances
• Purchase Price Variances (PPV)
• Labor variances
• Production efficiency variances
• Inventory revaluation impacts
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to costing and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal control requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, Inventory Accounting, FP&A, or related finance functions.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading projects, processes, or teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
