Job summary

Omron Automation is seeking an AOI Account Manager to drive sales growth across the Southern Region of Mexico. You will leverage deep EMS/SMT capital equipment knowledge to expand our presence in key industries and account bases.

The role requires 5+ years in technical sales, a technical engineering background, and experience selling capital equipment. Strong PCB/ SMT process knowledge and the ability to travel up to 50% are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales in EMS/SMT or electronics manufacturing.
• Engineering or related technical degree preferred.
• Experience selling capital equipment and managing complex sales cycles.
• Strong knowledge of SMT and PCB manufacturing processes.
• Hunter mindset with ability to build long-term customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Drive targeted sales growth within the Southern Region of Mexico.
• Identify high-potential accounts and develop penetration strategies.
• Manage technical sales opportunities with end-user customers and reps.
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders to support growth.
• Engage with customers to understand technical and business needs.
• Represent Omron professionally with customers, distributors and teams.
