Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation in Mexico seeks an engineer to lead SPI/AOI/vision-based in-process detection for NPI and production. You will troubleshoot SMT/PCB issues, drive corrective actions, and maintain system programs and documentation to ensure smooth manufacturing.

You will also support new product development, monitor inspection windows, and contribute to PFMEA and engineering changes while training staff and collaborating with quality and other departments to meet

Formación

• Graduated from Industrial/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering.
• 3 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge on programming AOI (Koh Young/Pemtron is preferred).
• Knowledge on Geber, CAD, ASCII files is a must.
• Knowledge of electronic components and soldering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of flowcharts (PF) (PFMEA).
• Knowledge of BOM's and process routes.
• Interpretation of 2D assembly drawings (GD&T).
• Knowledge of the ISO 9001 Standard.
• Knowledge of the ISO 14001 Standard.
• Advanced problem‑solving analysis and methodology.
• English 3 Intermediate.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for in-process detection engineering – SPI/AOI/Vision Systems for NPI P and production released products.
• Troubleshoot SMT/PCB process issues and provide quality feedback; drive corrective actions.
• Plan, create and update SPI/AOI/Vision Systems programs and process documentation for production.
• Maintain and back up equipment computer systems and networks; ensure operation.
• Participate in new product development discussions for PCB assembly and process technology.
• Monitor inspection windows and adjust to increase machine capability and quality.
• Lead PFMEA and manufacturing system improvements in assigned areas.
• Provide training on machine maintenance, operation and process to staff.
• Support Quality department to correct/improve processes and products.
• Support NPI activities for Spellman México plants and development of spare parts levels.
