Zoolatech in Mexico is seeking a capable SDET/QA Automation Engineer to strengthen Android testing across our mobile app. You will design and maintain automated tests, collaborate with Android engineers, and help improve CI/CD workflows for faster, more reliable releases.

The role emphasizes Kotlin-based test suites, UI automation, and familiarity with DI patterns such as Dagger/Hilt, along with AI-assisted testing approaches to optimize workflows.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or related role with Android testing focus.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK with strong debugging skills.
• Hands-on with JUnit, Espresso, and UI automation.
• Experience with DI frameworks (Dagger/Hilt) and API testing using Retrofit.
• Familiarity with Jetpack libraries and modern Android practices.
• Git/GitHub experience and testing within CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and test framework design.
• Willingness to adopt AI-driven testing practices.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases and frameworks.
• Own the quality lifecycle: identify issues, log bugs (Qase), and drive resolutions.
• Collaborate with Android engineers to ensure testable, automation-friendly code.
• Build in-house tools for test parallelization, network mocking, and reporting.
• Contribute to robust CI pipelines and scalable test execution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of QA processes.
