The candidate will work with data, ensure accurate historical capture for reports, and support cost reductions in outsourced and in-sourced fleets while building strong supplier relationships in an office setting.

Formación

• Four year College degree in Business or equivalent work experience required.
• Requires transportation background, CPM Certification a Plus.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics
• Foreign relations and customs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs freight studies to identify best practices in the field and identifies areas of process improvement within the existing Transportation Network.
• Participate in supplier reviews; identify and follow-up on opportunities for additional cost savings and infrastructure savings.
• Ensures historical data is accurately captured to facilitate a report driven reduction of Ricoh’s overall in sourced Fleet expense.
• Leverage volume in negotiated rates for outsourced expense.

WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level
• Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction – prepare, provide and convey diversified information
• Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity – regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.
