Placements24 is seeking a Real Estate Investment Analyst in Mérida, Yucatán to evaluate opportunities, build financial models, and support acquisitions. The role blends office-based analysis with on-site property assessments and client meetings in a hybrid setup.

The candidate should have 3+ years in real estate finance, strong valuation and modeling skills, and experience with Excel and ARGUS. Mérida market familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and financial modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ARGUS is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis, including valuation, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in Mérida and surrounding regions.
• Assist in due diligence for acquisitions, including inspections and document analysis.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for the investment committee.
• Monitor performance of existing properties and provide optimization recommendations.
• Develop and maintain financial models and databases related to real estate investments.
• Collaborate with brokers, appraisers, and lawyers to facilitate transactions.
