Blacksmith Agency is seeking an AI Software Engineer who will own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems, not model training, and you will work on automations across our design and development processes from a remote setup in LATAM and South Africa.

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As AI Software Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.
