AlertMedia is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to scale our AI-first development model. You will design and extend AI agents and skills, improve local dev environments, and help speed CI feedback. The role emphasizes practical AI tooling, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering reliable, scalable software.

You bring 6–8 years of hands-on software engineering and strong experience with Docker, AWS, and Postgres. English proficiency is required and the role is remote from Mexico.

Formación

• 6–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience extending AI tooling; building custom agents, prompts, MCP servers.
• Strong understanding of AI development workflows and CI/testing.
• Experience with Docker, local dev environments, and CI systems.
• English proficiency is required.
• Familiarity with Codex and Claude tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build AI agents and skills used in the development process (e.g., test generation, code review assistance, CI feedback).
• Improve and modularize local development environments.
• Reduce CI pain by speeding up tests and improving signal quality.
• Build internal tools that remove friction from daily development.
• Drive adoption through collaboration and usefulness, not mandates.
