Job summary

Cognizant in Mexico is seeking an AI Project Manager to lead end-to-end AI/ML and LLM initiatives for our R&D clients. You will bridge business goals with technical execution within an Agile/Scrum framework, coordinating internal teams and external vendors.

The role emphasizes defining scope, success metrics, and roadmaps, while owning project health, timelines, and budgets, and ensuring regulatory and governance considerations are met. Hybrid work setup with on-site collaboration in Mexico.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of project or program management experience in technology or data-driven initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering AI/ML and LLM-based solutions in production environments.
• Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, success metrics and roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Lead Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination.
• Manage cross-functional internal teams and external vendors, serving as the central coordinator across business, technology, and vendor teams.
• Own end-to-end project health, including scope, timeline, budget, risks, and quality.
• Translate business requirements into technical execution plans with milestones and prioritized backlogs.
• Oversee delivery of AI/ML and LLM-based solutions from use case definition through POC and MVP releases to full production.
