Job summary

PALO IT is hiring a Security and Networking Specialist in CDMX or Bogota to oversee the platform's security posture and networking from design to remediation. The role sits in a technology consultancy with 400+ experts across 9 countries and requires extensive experience in security and networking.

You will lead threat modelling, secrets/KMS design, pentesting oversight, and Google Cloud security, including IAM, VPC, firewalls, and API security.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 7 years of security and networking experience.
• Proven expertise in threat modelling and security design.
• Experience with networking policies, planning and execution.
• Strong skills in secrets management, KMS and token vaults.
• Experience scoping pentests and remediation strategies.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud security (IAM, VPC, firewall, perimeter).
• Experience with API security and OAuth token management.
• Familiarity with hardening containers and Kubernetes in GCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead security posture development and oversee networking policies end-to-end.
• Conduct threat modelling, implement secrets/KMS designs, manage token vaults and ensure SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance for SaaS.
• Scope pentesting efforts and oversee remediation and continuous improvement.
• Implement security measures on Google Cloud (IAM, VPC, firewalls, perimeter).
• Manage API security including OAuth token management and container/Kubernetes hardening in Google Cloud.
