Job summary

GBS Group is pursuing a senior engineer to design, deploy, and secure internal tools and automation systems across LATAM. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of internal platforms, connecting APIs and tools to create scalable, AI-assisted workflows.

You will work on security, reliability, and data integrity while prioritizing business impact and operational excellence in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or similar roles.
• Proven experience building and maintaining internal tools, automation systems, or operational platforms.
• Strong backend and system design fundamentals with the ability to design scalable, reliable systems.
• Experience with API integrations and system orchestration, connecting multiple tools and services into cohesive workflows.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with observability, logging, and monitoring systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Strong experience designing and implementing workflow automation and system optimization.
• Ability to analyze processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Hands‑on experience working with AI tools in production environments, including LLMs, agents, or automation platforms.
• Ability to integrate AI into real business workflows with sound judgment.
• Understanding of agent-based systems and orchestration patterns.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Ability to operate independently with high ownership and accountability.
