Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, seeks a Structural Engineer in Mexicali, MX to perform stress and fatigue analysis on aerospace components. You'll use hand calculations and FEA tools to verify designs and ensure structural integrity under defined loading.

Collaborating with international teams, you will document findings and present technical results using Word, Excel and PowerPoint, while communicating in English with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Experience with finite element analysis tools is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stress and fatigue structural analysis of aerospace components.
• Perform structural analysis using hand calculations and computer-based methods.
• Develop and document structural activities to assess integrity of metallic and non-metallic products.
• Work to defined design parameters to assess metallic and non-metallic components.
• Provide solutions to technical problems within assigned scope and complexity.
• Create and validate Continuous Improvement tools to solve problems.
• Communicate problems, issues and opportunities to peers and supervision.
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations using MS Office.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders across international locations.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
