Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Mexicali is seeking an experienced Stress Engineer III to support structural substantiation for aerospace changes. You will perform detailed analyses, FEM modeling, and hand calculations to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a mechanical/mechatronic/aerospace engineering background with 3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in CATIA V5, Patran/FEMAP, and Smarteam. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering fields as listed.
• 3 years of experience to perform essential functions.
• Experience with structural analysis and aerospace requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and document certification stress reports.
• Provide technical support to diverse engineering groups.
• Ensure that structural analysis and rationale meet Gulfstream stress criteria and FAA regulations.
• Generate Hand calculations and FEM for substantiation reports.
• Mentor and support stress team members.
