GKN Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, design and modify fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes. You will resolve production problems and document work on assigned parts.

You will develop and improve processes, implement control techniques (SPC, PFMEA), analyze flows for quality and lead-time reductions, and collaborate with other functions to ensure effective production methods. Knowledge of English required; bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Fluent in English.
• 5+ years of experience as Manufacturing Engineer.

Responsabilidades

• Develops, evaluates, improves and documents manufacturing processes
• Develops and implements process control techniques including work instructions using tools such as SPC, PFMEA
• Analyses manufacturing process flows continually for the improvements of quality, cost reduction, lead-time reduction for new work
• Collarborates with other functions to ensure effective production methods
• Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
• Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences.
• Determines required material and tools for production
• Creates and registers changes to work instructions
