Gulfstream Aerospace Mexicali is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process flow in line with engineering and quality standards. You will collaborate across groups to drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to SBU goals.

Key duties include coordinating productivity projects, leading RCCA activities, and developing work plans, BOMs, and SOPs. Strong knowledge of Catia, Solumina, ERP systems, and Power BI is highly valued.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English (85% advanced).

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate and supervise actions that increase productivity and improve processes.
  • Lead RCCA activities to solve problems and maintain quality standards.
  • Create work plans, BOMs, redlines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide feedback to First Article System and develop manufacturing routines.
  • Illustrate manufacturing concepts and produce electrical visual aids (SOPs).
  • Develop STR investigations to validate design issues.

Manufacturing process knowledge in special processes (heat treat, pyrometry, paint coat application and/or chromate conversion coating).

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. 4 years of experience in manufacturing processes.

Position Purpose

Provides the necessary support to assure manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards and, seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the SBU.Work closely with the other groups to update and improve the standard for manufacturing as applicable.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
  • Coordinate and supervises actions that increase productivity, improve processes and coordinate projects with different groups .
  • Responsible for the RCCA to solve problems .
  • Create work plan/BOM. Red lines/WOA's and work routines .
  • Give feedback to the “First Article System“ .
  • Good understanding of manufacturing concepts and proficiency to elaborate electrical visual aids (SOP's) .
  • Create STR investigation to validate design issues.

Perform other duties as assigned.
