Robert Bosch Group is seeking a Software Automation Engineer for manufacturing projects in Toluca. You will develop, validate, and commission automation software for machines, acting as the technical owner of software deliverables and supporting project coordination.

You will define architectures, interfaces, and IO structures, perform testing and commissioning, and ensure adherence to Bosch standards and quality processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related).
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and PLC programming.
• Experience coordinating software activities or technical work packages is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain PLC and automation software according to project specs and Bosch standards.
• Participate in reviews and define automation solutions, I/O structures, interfaces, and software architectures.
• Perform software validation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support machine acceptance, pre-acceptance, and customer buy-off activities.
• Manage software version control, backups, and project documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external programming resources per project needs.
• Ensure cybersecurity, safety, and quality requirements are met.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process engineering, and customer teams.
