Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Manufacturing operations by handling administrative processes and preparing reports for the Plant Manager. The role is on-site in Tlalnepantla de Baz, State of Mexico.

Key duties include purchasing, inventory coordination, month-end reporting, and internal/external customer support. Requires 1+ year experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, English basics, and strong Excel skills for effective reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review transactions, including inbound and outbound movements.
• Create purchase orders for the acquisition of goods and services.
• Generate transportation documentation and monitor freight shipments.
• Prepare month-end closing reports, including conference reporting, semiannual inventory counts, and finished goods invoicing.
• Lead all responsibilities related to internal and external customer support.
• Provide reports and updates to various departments and managers within the Manufacturing plant.
• Ensure inventory integrity, reconciling physical stock with system records.
• Coordinate receiving, dispatching, storage, and distribution of inventory in Spare Parts, Hazardous Materials, and Consumables Warehouses.
• Control reception and delivery of materials, including coding and storage in designated locations.
