Job Description

The Graduate Institute at the School for International Training (SIT) invites ongoing applications for a part-time instructor pool. We have a wide range of Master's programs, both low-residency and global, as well as a low-residency doctoral program. We are seeking adjuncts located in one of our global learning locations to teach in person. Our course offerings are listed below. Job Duties

• Deliver instruction appropriate to the topic, course description, intended learning outcomes, level, and student audience.
• Promote and facilitate student success by creating an environment conducive to inclusive and experiential learning.
• Manage the learning environment through effective record-keeping, submitting grades and other reports on time, and enforcing school/campus academic, code of conduct, and attendance policies.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in a related field, with experience in a position relevant to the course topic.
• Graduate teaching experience is desirable.
• Background in inclusive teaching, global education, and experiential learning
• Experience with the course management system Canvas preferred

Program: Masters in Sustainable Development Practice (Hybrid)

Course: Agroecology and Food Systems Field Course - 1 Credit, Oaxaca, Mexico
