Job summary

Cummins Inc. in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, seeks an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead the AR team, ensure timely collections, and maintain compliance with accounting policies.

You will supervise clerks, analyze receivables data, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations; a degree in accounting/finance and English proficiency are expected; Oracle ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with process improvement or automation is a plus.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AR clerks in line with policies and procedures.
• Monitor receivables and collections; follow-up on past-due accounts.
• Prepare reports on receivables, receipts, and balances.
• Identify changes to improve AR efficiency and controls.
• Assign work based on team capacity and development needs.
• Coach and mentor team members and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
