Job summary

Coface in Mexico is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Leader for the SSC to lead a team of about eight AP professionals across multiple countries. You will oversee end‑to‑end AP processing, control compliance, and deliver reliable reporting.

The role emphasizes capability building, KPI monitoring, process improvements, and collaboration with regional finance teams to ensure smooth month‑end closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• 5–7 years of experience in finance or accounting; proven SSC experience and team leadership required.
• English: Working proficiency (daily interaction with regional stakeholders).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately eight AP professionals, including onboarding, goal setting, performance feedback, and skill development.
• Ensure end-to-end AP execution (invoice intake, validation, posting, approvals follow-up) in line with SSC standards and local requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance (SOX/internal control principles, audit readiness, segregation of duties, policy adherence).
• Monitor KPIs (SLA, cycle time, backlog aging, invoice accuracy) and drive action plans.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and documentation; promote ownership and accountability.
• Collaborate with regional AR, GL, Tax, and local finance teams during month‑end closes and audits.
