Job summary

Essentra is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor overseeing day-to-day AP Specialists within our Shared Services framework. You will ensure accurate, timely invoice processing in alignment with internal controls and company policies.

You will lead AP activities across multiple countries/currencies, develop KPIs, and support ERP upgrades while driving improvements and audit readiness. A bachelor’s in finance or related field and strong English communication are required.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, administration or related.
• English fluency in professional business environment.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with multiple countries and currencies.
• Self-motivated and autonomous with Excel proficiency.
• Effective communication and organizational abilities.
• Relevant AP/accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable Specialists, including timecard management, performance reviews, training, coaching and mentoring.
• Support AP KPI development, reporting, process improvements, automation and data management.
• Oversee high-volume invoice vouchers with 3-way matching, approvals and SOA.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to resolve PO issues, vendor terms, pricing, and invoices.
• Review vendor statements, respond to inquiries and manage vendor setup/change forms and ACH/wire templates.
• Create and maintain digital AP packets; ensure accurate, complete and audit-ready AP documentation.
• Schedule and process payment batches per the payment schedule and required approvals.
• Prepare AP forecasts, weekly/monthly/annual reports, accruals and tax support reports.
• Provide AP support for audits and respond timely and accurately.
• Support ERP implementations or system upgrades and other duties as assigned.
