Job summary

Hexagon Infrastructure & Geospatial in Monterrey seeks an Accounts Payable Analyst to support our growing GBS team and ensure accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices. The role emphasizes data integrity, stakeholder service, and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• At least four years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience with spend management or AP systems and strong MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Experience in a multinational shared services or GBS environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, cost invoices, and credit notes accurately within service timelines.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor, internal partner, and auditor inquiries timely.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports from AP data.

We are a multinational organization with an established Global Business Services (GBS) operation in Monterrey to support the Americas region. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our growing team and help shape efficient, standardized, and scalable accounting processes.

About the Role

The Accounts Payable Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization’s accounting and administrative activities. The position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing, reconciliation, and maintenance of accounts payable records while delivering a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices, cost invoices, and credit notes accurately and within agreed service timelines.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve debit balances and other open items.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, internal business partners, and auditors in a timely and professional manner.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
• Perform accounts payable month-end closing activities and support the timely completion of the financial close.
• Prepare payment runs and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure the smooth and timely settlement of payables.
• Monitor and support achievement of agreed service levels and quality standards, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Build effective working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders across local entities and the wider organization.
• Participate in process transitions, continuous improvement initiatives, procedure documentation, and standardization projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may include supporting related finance areas such as Accounts Receivable or General Ledger.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience using business spend management or accounts payable systems, together with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Experience working in a multinational shared services or GBS environment is preferred.
