Danfoss GmbH in Apodaca, MX invites applications for an AP Intern position aimed at students in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance. This on-site, part-time internship focuses on learning the complete Procure-to-Pay process within the Shared Services team.

You will assist with accounts payable subledger, GR/IR coordination, vendor communications, and monthly reporting while gaining mentoring and global opportunities in a hands-on environment.

Formación

• Student of Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• Self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive attitude.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and familiarity with accounting practices.
• Team player, eager to learn, and to take on new challenges.
• Language: Intermediate level of English (verbal and written).
• Analytical thinking for identifying discrepancies and improving processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support the APRS team with managing the Accounts Payable subledger and review old/unresolved debit balances for the Latin America region.
• Monitor and coordinate the resolution of GR/IR accounts and assign issues accordingly.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Outsource Partner to resolve pending invoices and documents.
• Follow up with approvers on aged, unapproved, and rejected invoices to ensure timely tasks.
• Review vendor reminders and manage fines and escalations.
• Track overdue payments and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Support invoice/credit note booking queries, corrections, and reversals.
• Contact vendors to ensure adherence to processes in vendor statements and direct debit cases.
• Handle generic mailboxes for queries and escalations and prepare monthly reports.
