Damco Spain SL is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage month-end close, IFRS reporting, and governance in a fast-moving environment in Mexico City. The role requires robust accounting and reporting background with IFRS experience and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years’ experience with accounting and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international financial regulations, financial analysis, and the audit process.
• Experience in control framework and IFRS (added advantage).
• Experienced in creating and documenting SOPs and ensuring control follow-up and compliance.
• Advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas), ERP systems.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports.
• Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Support for internal and external audits.
• Tax recording and validation.
• Month-end close process.
• Monthly accruals.
• Control follow-up and compliance management.
• Fixed asset management.
• Inventory management.
• Prepayments management.
• Ensure IFRS and GAAP-based financial reporting is accurate.
• IFRS16 Calculation and follow-up.
