Job summary

DHL Express Mexico is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the accounting department in the Finance area. You will direct financial closing, supervise centralized AP, ensure reconciliations, and coordinate deliverables from the Shared Services Center in Costa Rica while interfacing with the Tax and external audit teams.

The role requires a CPA with at least 5 years of leadership experience in corporate accounting, exposure to IFRS and MX GAAP, strong Excel skills,

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant with at least 5 years of experience leading accounting processes.
• Experience in Big Four or multinational accounting practices.
• Strong corporate accounting expertise.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP and IFRS / MX GAAP / NIF.
• Proficient English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial close process.
• Supervise the centralized Accounts Payable model.
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting reconciliations.
• Coordinate and ensure deliverables from the Shared Services Center in Costa Rica.
• Manage the relationship with external audit (Deloitte).
• Maintain compliance with accounting controls and regulations.
• Ensure effective interaction with the Tax department.
• Lead a team of 9–12 FTEs (4 coordinators as direct reports).
• Ensure 10 complete and timely accounting reconciliations.
