Support Services Group seeks an Accountant in Hermosillo to join a high-energy, results-driven team. You will perform core accounting tasks, manage payables, bank reconciliations, and assist with reporting to support timely payments and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of accounting experience in Mexico, proficiency in CONTPAQi / CompaQ and Excel, and fluent or advanced English. Knowledge of IVA, ISR, and IMSS payroll is essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in Mexico.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, vendor invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience reviewing and processing invoices and ensuring proper documentation and payment follow-up.
• Proficiency in CONTPAQi / CompaQ accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and financial data.
• Working knowledge of Mexican tax regulations (IVA, ISR) and general tax compliance.
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes and IMSS requirements.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• 2–4 years of accounting experience in Mexico, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, vendor invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience reviewing and processing invoices and ensuring proper documentation and payment follow-up.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CONTPAQi / CompaQ accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data.
• Working knowledge of Mexican tax regulations, particularly:
  • VAT (IVA)
  • Income Tax (ISR)
  • General Mexican tax compliance and reporting obligations.
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes and IMSS requirements.

Language

• Fluent or advanced English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
